As you may have noticed on here or on my Facebook page, I will be doing my bit for the jubilee celebrations in Halstead, Essex. Halstead is having a whole day of celebrations on Sunday the 3rd in Halstead Public Gardens, with plenty going on in the way of music, food and drink and performances. This also includes a craft fair taking place in the gardens, and I will be there with my jewellery! I will be there from 10.30am to around 5pm when the evening events begin, so if you are near Halstead it looks like there will be plenty to see and do, including lots of fun things for children.
As the event is outdoors (and given the aforementioned likelihood wth the weather....), I have invested in a small(ish) gazebo-type-thing, to keep me shaded/sheltered from the rain (not the wind - if it's windy it will probably just blow over!). It is a bit plain though, so I felt I would have to brighten it up with some lovely bunting. Whilst I was looking at bunting, I fould a whole host of other beautiful jubilee-themed gifts and decorations on Folksy, so I have featured some of my favourites below as a long-overdue Folksy Friday! I have even included the lovely bunting I eventually bought from My Blue Shed.
Whatever you are doing for this extra-long jubilee weekend, I hope you have a fabulous time, and until it all kicks off you can enjoy these beautiful finds from Folksy!
