April Showers Sale!

I know I've been talking about all these lovely new things soon to be listed in my Folksy shop, but I have been having a look around and realised it looks rather full, so.... I have decided to have a sale! Rather a sudden decision, but basically most things in my shop are now reduced by at least 20%, to make room for all the gorgeous new goodies I want to fill the shop with! The sale will go on until the end of April, and everything included can be found in the Sale section of my Folksy shop. In case you aren't already tempted, here are some of the things which are now reduced....

My leaf dragon earrings are reduced from £17.00 to just £13.00

This beautiful captured SeaCreature is now just £25.00, reduced from £32.00

These earrings are a bargain at just £6.80!

My mythical creatures pendants, including this bird, are reduced from £17.50 to £14.00.

So, if you find yourself stuck at the computer on a rainy afternoon this April, why not come and visit me and see if you can find yourself a bargain?!

Challenge 52, Week 52!

Well, this is it; here I am at the end of my Challenge 52 with my week 52 blog post!  For those of you who have been following me for a while, a year ago this week I agreed to take part in a Challenge 52, inspored by another crafter and blogger doing the same, in an effort to get me to update my blog more often.  Well, I might not quite have managed a blog post every week, but I have certainly been keeping it up more regularly, so on the whole I think it has worked.  I do intend to keep up the blogging though, so don't panic those (few!) of you who follow my ramblings regularly!!

So to begin with, news of my most recent craft fair.  After another We Are Handmade fair in Halstead earlier in the month, last Saturday I took part in my first Made-It Market in Cambridge.  This was a much larger fair, with loads of different and beautiful crafts around (good job I was manning my table or I would have been spending all my money!), right in the middle of Cambridge in the Guildhall.  After a good start the fair was a bit quiet over the middle of the day, but picked up later in the afternoon, and on the whole the day went well, and I met some lovely new people who I hope to see again at the next Made-It Market I am taking part in in November.  Below are a couple of photos of my table.

I got almost as many comments about the tablecloth as I did about the jewellery, I'm sure I could have sold it several times over!!

Having two fairs quite close together, I had to spend a lot of time preparing enough stock to make sure that I would have enough for the second fair if the first fair went really well.  This means that my poor Folksy shop has been rather neglected lately, but not for long!  I have some gorgeous new pieces left over from my fair stock, so they will be going into my Folksy shop over the next few weeks.  So, to finish this final Challenge 52 blog post, I will leave you with a couple of preview photos to give you a little idea of what is to come....
